(Northport, NY- July 3, 2012) - The John W. Engeman Theater would like to announce the new multi-year corporate sponsors, North Shore-LIJ Health System and Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Kevin J. O'Neill, Owner and Managing Director of the John W. Engeman Theater, Michael J. Dowling, President and Chief Executive Officer of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and Kirk Kordeleski, Chief Executive Officer of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, held a press conference on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 to announce their new partnerships starting with the 2012-2013 Season. North Shore-LIJ Health System is the official sponsor of the John W. Engeman Theater Main Stage for next three years and Bethpage Federal Credit Union is the official sponsor for all Youth Programming for the next five years.

Beginning its sixth season this summer, the John W. Engeman Theater is a preeminent entertainment venue for the discerning theater-goer from Montauk to Manhattan. The momentum of the theater's success is due to its dedication to excellence; the quality of the performers, cast directly from the Broadway talent pool, the state-of-the-art facility and unparalleled service. The 2012-2013 Main Stage Season, officially sponsored by North Shore LIJ, boasts a delightful mix of musicals, comedy and drama. With the North Shore-LIJ sponsorship, the John W. Engeman Theater will be able to continue to bring Broadway to Main Street supporting the Performing Arts on Long island.

"The John W. Engeman Theater and the arts in general strengthen our communities by playing an important role in enhancing the quality of life for Long Islanders and Long Island families," said North Shore-LIJ President and CEO Michael Dowling. "As a major provider of healthcare for the region, North Shore-LIJ is always focused on improving the quality of life for our residents. We are proud to work with like-minded organizations such as the Engeman Theater to improve our communities and look forward to being the Main Stage sponsor for the next three years."

"We are excited to announce North Shore-LIJ Health System as our Main Stage Sponsor. NSLIJ is an organization that touches so many lives on a daily basis and we are very proud to be recognized by them," said Kevin J. O'Neill, Owner and Managing Director of the John W. Engeman Theater. "The sponsorship will make it possible for the Theater to expand its Community Give Back program that already helps fund over 100 not-for-profit organizations on Long Island. We thank NSLIJ for their support and confidence. "

Now in its 6th season, the Youth Theater Series consists of Children's Theater Productions, an Education Theater Program, The Studio of the Performing Arts Classes and Summer Camp. Under the sponsorship, Bethpage will help underwrite the creation of newly re-priced and reduced Education Theater tickets that will be made available to all Long Island Elementary School students and work to invite various children's groups to attend complimentary Educational Theater matinee performances. Bethpage will also provide six scholarship opportunities for students to attend the John W. Engeman Performing Arts Studio Summer Camp and Performing Arts Studio Classes.   As a result of the Bethpage sponsorship, children will be able to experience Quality Theater at a more affordable price through an array of outstanding children's and student programming within the Youth Theater Series.

"Bethpage is very proud to expand its support of the Engeman Theater," said Kirk Kordeleski, President and CEO, Bethpage, during his remarks today. "Together with North Shore LIJ, we will help foster an appreciation and awareness for the arts on Long Island, especially among children."

"We are very thankful to Bethpage for their continued support of Engeman. As the Youth Theater Series sponsor, they will not only help expose children to live theater, but help children experience quality theater at a more affordable price," said Kevin J. O'Neill, Owner and Managing Director of the John W. Engeman Theater. "We thank Bethpage for helping make that possible."
