Visit the Nationally Registered Historic Stony Brook Grist Mill - Stony Brook, NY

Take a look at the inner workings of the Stony Brook Grist Mill.

By Video Journalist Dan Brenner

The Stony Brook Grist Mill was built in 1699 and was originally located across the street from where it is now. It was washed out and rebuilt in 1751 in its current location. The mill was placed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places in 1990. It was once used to make flour for the colonists, and still works as well today as it did back then.
