The Patchogue Church of the Nazarene Choir helps the Salvation Army by singing holiday songs in front of the Farmingville Kmart. When one of the church members offered to ring a bell, the whole church and its choir wanted to get involved. One of their goals besides helping raise money for the needy is to inspire people and encourage them to do the right thing during the holidays. Local residents and shoppers enjoy the singing and the spirit as they observe and donate to the Salvation Army.
