"Lawrence High School is a 4-year secondary school accredited by the New York State Board of Regents. Approximately 1,035 students attend Lawrence High School and the class of 2010 has 257 students. The High School provides for the needs of all students through a variety of Regents, Honors, and AP courses. In addition, college level courses allow students to earn college credit and are offered in conjunction with Long Island University–C.W. Post, Adelphi University, New York Institute of Technology, and Syracuse University. A Special Projects Program in science and social studies prepares students for the Intel Science Talent Search as well as other competitions."
