Jennifer Ross, Program Coordinator

Jennifer is a strategic marketing professional with more than 16 years experience. Her career began at JPMorgan Chase where she held various strategic marketing and business development roles. Through her strategic marketing consulting practice, Jennifer has consulted for startups (VocationVacations), solo entrepreneurs (Zumba with Bobbi Ann), and large corporations (JPMorgan Chase, MasterCard, Whole Foods Market).  Jen has a passion for creating relevant, targeted marketing strategies, coaching people on marketing their business, connecting people to purposeful sources & people, and creating, designing, promoting & executing targeted events.

Jennifer partners with MyLITV (My Long Island TV)  to produce an online segment show called ‘Active on Long Island’ that is also broadcast on Verizon FIOS1. The show brings attention to a diversity of activities with the goal of inspiring people to be active. It also spotlights true ActivEntrepreneurs who realize the value of being active and healthy and how that plays a significant role in both their personal and business lives. In addition to the segment, Jennifer has also taken on the role of MyLITV Program Coordinator, as she has a knack for finding and connecting with inspiring people.

Jennifer was nominated to the LI Press Fortune 52 for the creation of the ActivEntrepreneur networking group. Fortune 52 honors Long Island women who make a significant, unique and lasting contribution to their communities and workplaces. In addition, she received a Long Island Business News 40 under 40 award, honoring outstanding members of the LI business community who are under the age of 40.

Jennifer is focused on creating a flexible and successful lifestyle, enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, is very involved in the betterment of her local community and several animal non profits, strives to be active and healthy… and continues to inspire others to do the same.

Her latest endeavor, HeartBeet Café (link Heartbeetcafe.com), is focused on teaching elementary kids how to make healthier food choices.
