BoxFit, a fitness center in Patchogue, hosts its 3rd Charity Fight Show. Fighters compete in kickboxing, full contact karate, and American kickboxing, including some other styles.
Participants not only get involved to get a good workout; they are fighting to raise money for National SafeRides, a non-profit organization that aims to prevent drunk driving. This organization provides a ride for anyone who has had too much to drink.
We catch up with some of the fighters before they step into the ring, who share their experience with BoxFit and give tips for fighting.
