The East Islip Historical Society holds a tea party with a spot of history about Brookwood Hall.

The East Islip Historical Society hosts its first annual "Tea & A Spot of History" event at Brookwood Hall in East Islip.
Brookwood Hall used to be an orphanage from 1942-1965, so as a bit of history, two children previously housed there come to share their experiences of time gone by.
Tea drinkers take a tour through the orphanage and learn about the grounds and dormitories, as well as what it was really like to live there.
