In 1948, Lester and Lillian Kronfeld established Lester's Clothing Department Store on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. 60 years later, Lester's remains a family-owned and operated company serving neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Greenvale, Huntington, and New Jersey.
The friendly and familiar environment, described as the "neighborhood department store," by owner Perry Schorr, has kept its customers coming back to the place that offers them the greatest deals on the latest European and American trends.
Starting this summer, customers will be able to stay connected with Lester's from home as the company installs online shopping into their website.
The secret to Lester's success? "Knowing our customer's names," said Schorr, "people never leave."
