"Massapequa High School is one of the top rated High schools in Nassau County. Located in the beautiful community of Massapequa, the school is comprised of 2,000 hardworking sophomores, juniors and seniors who strive to make a better education for themselves. As the student population continues to grow, an additional wing has been added to accommodate the future classes. More than 300 students each year take a vast array of Advanced Placement courses or scale classes for college credit. More than 94% of the graduating class will go on to complete studies at a two to four year college or university.
The athletic program also offers a variety of sports ranging from Varsity Basketball to intramural dodge ball. Each year many of these athletic teams including, soccer, baseball, basketball and field hockey reach county and sometimes state level championships. Many of our athletes achieve 'scholar athlete' status, as recognized by New York State."
