The Feast of Mother Cabrini is a nine day Italian festival on the ground of Suffolk County Community College. It is the largest Italian Feast on Long Island and it is organized by The Giuseppe A. Nigro Lodge, Order of the Sons of Italy in America.

co-chairmen are Cono Peluso, Jack Abruzzo and Cameo Borruso

Mother Cabrini is the "heavenly patroness of all the immigrants." She arrived in the United States from Italy at the personal urging of Pope Leo XII in 1889 along with six missionary sisters. The sisters immediately began their mission: to establish a network of educational, health care and social service institutions for the millions of Italian immigrants entering this country in search of better lives. She was nationalized in 1909. In 1938 after an extraordinary lifetime dedicated to public service in God's name, she was beatified. Mother Cabrini became the first saint to have held U.S. citizenship in 1946.
